Youth Building Alternatives

YBA is an alternative education program serving at risk youth between the ages of 16 – 24 years old. The program includes academics, GED preparation, vocational education, job skills, life skills, and counseling. Additionally, we provide:

Guidance
Leadership Development
Community Involvement

Youth Building Alternatives recruits young men and women who:

are 16-24 years old
have dropped out of school and/or are on probation
have an interest in pursuing a GED or preparing for post-secondary education
have an interest in learning about the building construction trades
are able to make a 9 month commitment to the program
meet the low income guidelines

YBA students regularly give back to the community in the form of Service Learning projects and volunteer service.
