Volunteer



  • LearningWorks welcomes volunteers in all of our programs. With your time, you can make a big difference in the lives of students at LearningWorks. We can fit your schedule and interests!

  • We are currently seeking Mentors in all of our programs. Be a friend, a resource, a guide, or simply company for an adult, teen and elementary-school student in our programs. In one hour per week, you can make a difference! Apply today.

Other ways to Help


In-Kind

Have you recently upgraded your home or work computer? Currently LearningWorks is seeking computers in good working condition to go into the homes of our English Language students. Personal files should be removed. Please contact Paul Manoff if you have equipment you'd like to donate. Unless we are hosting a special event, we ask that clothing, toy and furniture donations be directed to Goodwill Industries of Northern New England.


Events

Attend our events and bring a friend—introduce your community to the good work of LearningWorks.


Pledge 

Make a pledge spread over the next several months or years. We'd be happy to work out a payment schedule whether it's $10 a month or more, your financial help directly impacts the work we do.

 

End of the year Giving

Help LearningWorks and reduce your income taxes. Your tax or financial advisor can help you to determine what you will save in taxes with a specific gift amount.

   

Honor/Memorial Gifts

Consider a contribution to a Learning Works program that will celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or other special day, occasion. A gift to LearningWorks in memory of a loved one can bear the name that you assign it
